League Managers

 

- League Managers are independent contractors or part-time employees that are responsible for signing in teams, troubleshooting, inputting scores on the online portal, distributing t-shirts and marketing of all upcoming leagues and events. Please be prepared to commit to a minimum of an 8 week season of at least one night a week.



Compensation is variable and will be established with each independent contractor or part-time employee.

 

 

Referees and Umpires

 

- Game Officials are independent contractors that offer their services to referee/umpire fun and fair games, maintain control of play and establish open, friendly rapport with teams and spectators.

 

- Please be prepared to commit to a minimum of an 8 week season of at least one night a week.

 

- Compensation is variable and will be established with each independent contractor or part-time employee.

 

Operations Internship

CCA is looking for a creative, energized, and motivated Operations Intern. The Operations Intern will work directly with the Operations Manager and COO to coordinate CCA league operations and facility management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, trouble shooter and will have experience and knowledge in areas of sport operations, facility management and supporting day-to-day functions. They will interact with the CCA community both through email communications and at leagues and events at various Indianapolis-area locations.

Responsibilities:

- Aid in management and maintenance of all league venues daily/weekly to make sure all are fully functional for league play.  This includes but is not limited to grooming ball diamonds, mowing, painting fields, raking, etc.  Coordinate plan of action for weather crisis events.

- Aid in daily scheduling of leagues, manage emails, and work through daily tasks of operations.

- Managing assigned venue inventory and coordinate with manager on purchasing and ensuring all venues have adequate supplies.

- Represent CCA Sports at multiple sporting events on a weekly basis.  This includes setup and take down for leagues, directing referee’s and participants to correct locations, refereeing games as needed, interacting with participants, quality control.

- Assist marketing team as needed with social media and events including but not limited to, cancelation notices, new events, league pictures, and help with general marketing for company through social media.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service/relationship skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong ability to self-direct, manage time, and work independently

- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Strong Ability to problem solve

- Ability to successfully pass a physical ability test

- Ability to lift repeatedly up to 50 pounds

Social Media Marketing & Events Internship

 

CCA is looking for a creative, energized, and motivated Social Media Marketing and Events Intern. The Marketing/Event Intern will work directly with the Director of Operations & Design and Director of Events & Sponsorship to coordinate marketing and event planning efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, trouble shooter and will have experience and knowledge in areas of event execution and logistics, digital event tools (email, social media), social media scheduling platforms and supporting day-to-day functions.

 

They will interact with the CCA community both digitally and at events/leagues at various Indianapolis locations. In addition to the above, you will take part in the virtual production sector as well. By assisting in curation and production of the events CCA creates, you will learn how to build, strategize, market, and execute an experience through the lens of creative storytelling.

 

Responsibilities

 

Social Media

- Plan weekly posts for approval on all platforms (FB, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

- Content Creation

- Manage live posts from leagues and evets attended

- Management of assigned campaigns

 

Marketing

- Use of best practices and brand guidelines to develop content

- Creation of marketing materials as needed (Posters, table toppers, rack cards, etc.)

- Assist with the weekly newsletter (knowledge of mailchimp preferred)

 

Events

- Aid in development and execution of event marketing plans: Social content, Newsletter content, Posters , In-person marketing at leagues

- Production: Work assigned events, Live social posting, Content creation

Aid in preparation of event materials

 

League Presence

- Working CCA Sports leagues 2-3 times a week

- You are there to interact with teams and collect content for social: Pictures, videos, team interviews, event marketing, etc.

- Occasionally aiding in the set-up/tear down
