Covid-19 Safety

CCA Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Update(10/08/20) In compliance with the new statewide mask mandate, all participants are required to wear a mask at venues until the participant begins playing. This includes wearing a mask on the sidelines, dugout, and bleachers when not engaged in physical activity.

Masks must be worn upon entering all indoor facitlities and may only be removed when beginning league play.  Masks must be worn following game play while exiting indoor facilities.

CCA will abide by all state and local guidelines for facilities and events.  Social distancing is required when not on the field of play.  This includes on sidelines, dugouts, benches, etc.

Any person experiencing any symptoms of sickness will be prohibited from attending any event or access to a venue.  Please respect others and do not attend CCA Leagues if you are feeling sick or have a fever or any other symptoms.

Designated markings/bases will be placed on diamonds/fields for coaches, umpires, players not playing.  These areas will be strictly enforced.

Players must ALWAYS keep proper social distance from referees/umpires/league managers.  Only a team captain may approach a staff member to ask questions or get clarifications.

Team captain should remain 6 feet from ump during discussion.  Yelling will not be permitted and there will be zero tolerance on this.

No handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, contact between teams.  Teams are encouraged to wish the other team well vocally or by tipping hat, etc.

No Spitting, no sunflower seeds, etc.  This will be strictly enforced, and players will be asked to leave.

Participants are encouraged to provide their own PPE items should they choose, as long as items do not compromise the safety of the game.  Participants may bring their own antibacterial wipes or hand sanitizer to leagues for their team.

If you have tested positive for Covid-19 or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days, please contact John@ccasports.com.
